It’s #Saturday and it’s time to take a break from work.
What better way to rest than to bake some biscuits.
We know what you’re thinking and yes they are delicious.
Kidding.
Yes, the biscuits take some work: mixing, cutting, baking, clean up, etc.
But doing something other than work is actually good for you.
According to the article “Give me a break” by Kirsten Weir (American Psychological Association):
“… regularly detaching from your work tasks—both during the workday and in your off-hours—can help restore energy in the short term and prevent burnout in the long term.” https://lnkd.in/dcVy3ip
For your break, do something you like. We like eating.
And don’t worry, you can still DIA on your break.
We did and the biscuits turned out light, flakey, and delicious. Pairs nicely with #coffee.
#takeabreak and get recharged for Monday.
Happy Saturday!
