No one is making you stay in the job you hate. You can spend the rest of your life in a “career” that underutilizes your talents, dangles the golden carrot in your face, and cares more about its own profits than your family.
Or you can do some soul searching and truly look at yourself. Take inventory of your talents. Think of a way to employ them for money. The skills you have other don’t. They’re willing to put for them. All you have to do is choose to use them for your own profit.
When you do that you can choose to work from the beach or a cubicle. You can choose to work more or play more. When you put your talents to work, you’re choosing the life you want, not the life some other company is choosing to give you.
